Studying alongside learning

Our training contracts are between 3 and 5 years, and you will study towards a number of qualifications during this time. You will have college days throughout your training contract, and we will also provide paid study leave in the run up to exams. But to pass your exams requires dedication from you to plan your study, and ensure that you allow yourself the time you need to prepare.

Remember, most people in the firm will have been through the same process, so they know how it feels but you'll need to communicate with them and let them know when you have exams coming up and if you feel you need support.

Adjusting to the workplace

We know that for many of you this may be your first experience in a professional workplace and we don't expect you know everything straight away. But we do expect you to listen and take onboard advice you are given and the preparation we share with you ahead you joining. As part of your onboarding programme, we share monthly newsletter to keep you up to date with our latest news and to help you feel prepared for joining the firm.

Listen to this video podcast to hear from Partner Jon Roden and Senior Manager Sophie Williams sharing their experiences of adjusting to the professional workplace.
