Commercial

Our Commercial audit team provides the opportunity to work on a sizeable portfolio of key clients from the business support services sector (professional services, recruitment, facilities management) and consumer sector (retail, food & beverage). The size of clients varies from owner managed businesses and LLP's through to some well-known listed high street brands, but no matter their size, you'll get to the heart of how they work and the challenges they face.

Our commercial audit teams

Our Financial Services Audit team have a wealth of experience with entities operating within the Financial Servicea umbrella, including asset management businesses, brokerages, insurance, hedge fund managers and other FCA regulated entities. We have dedicated CASS and technical specialists who sit within our FS audit team to deliver these more specialised audits.

Our Entrepreneurial Services team work with exciting, innovative, fast growth SMEs, many of them newly-backed by VC funding, to provide high quality financial reporting and controls insights that help them meet their growth objectives. We are a multi-disciplinary team and often work with clients across service lines to create efficient structures that help them expand internationally, establishing the right governance procedures and preparing them for becoming the PLCs of tomorrow.

We are looking for people who want to do more than run an audit. Our clients will have many and fast evolving challenges and will value the relationship with you as their adviser, and the proactivity that you bring to them and their business. 

Our private capital audit teams provide assurance services to a wide range of businesses ranging from owner managed businesses to large private multinationals. Their stakeholders include private equity funds, larger parent companies (both UK based and overseas) and privately funded ownership through an individual, family or group of private investors.

Our Public Interest audit teams work with FTSE and AIM listed companies, and we are one of the largest auditors in the AIM marketplace, giving you the opportunity to work with clients from a wide variety of industries as well as clients of different sizes. 

We want our teams to grow in their careers, and for people who want to develop we give the opportunity to work on multiple public interest audits through the year, ensuring variety in work and opportunities to learn.

Our Royalty Audit team works with some of the largest global film and TV producers, as well as international brands across apparel, pharmaceuticals, sport and many more industries. The work involves auditing licensees on behalf of IP owners to ensure our clients are receiving all revenues due.

Joining this team is an exciting opportunity to learn more about the film, TV, merchandise and pharma industries. Work across different territories and languages, you'll provide tailored contract-compliance assurance based on agreed-upon-procedures.

Public Sector and Not for Profit Audit

Our Public Sector and Not for Profit Audit teams are the well-established market leader of external audit to local government (including police and fire) and the NHS. Our teams works with some of the largest public sector bodies in the country, auditing approximately 25% of the NHS market and 36% of local government. Our audit teams are well supported by specialist public sector financial reporting, audit quality, value for money and grants assurance teams.

Internal audit teams

Our external audit facing teams are supported to deliver the quality our clients expect by many internal teams, including our digital audit and centralised audit services teams as well as our overseas team members. 

Our digital audit teams are working to deliver innovative digital solutions to help our audit teams deliver quality audits and maximise value. We need to enable a digital first approach to applying our audit methodology, supporting our people to develop new skills.

Our Centralised Audit Services Team (CAST) provide an innovative and cost effective solution to the delivery of audit services and accounts production activity across multiple client types, industries and geographies. 

And our UK based audit teams are supported with overseas team members in India and the Philippines, who work as an extenstion of our UK teams ensuring we provide the quality and expertise our clients expect.
