Our recruitment process

We recruit externally for partners and directors on an ongoing basis, and once you join the firm you have multiple opportunities throughout the year for promotion.

The promotion process for partners occurs quarterly throughout the year, while our directors are promoted on a monthly basis. We offer comprehensive support and guidance to our internal candidates throughout the entire promotion process, including access to necessary paperwork, development programmes, and one-on-one coaching.

All our partner candidates follow a specific process leading up to a final interview, which assesses a candidates leadership qualities.

The assessment focuses on leadership qualities based on our partner competencies. Through the assessment of these competencies, the Partner Selection Panel (PSP) determines, on behalf of the firm, whether you have the potential to operate as a partner in the firm before they recommend your appointment to the Chief Executive Officer.

The partner recruitment process follows the below steps:

  1. The business case
  2. Quality interview
  3. Aptitude and psychometric tests
  4. The final panel

All our director candidates undergo a tailored selection process designed to enable both you as a candidate and the business to evaluate your suitability for a director role.

The process consists of two interviews: the first evaluates your comprehension of quality and professional standards, while the second assesses your leadership capabilities. This thorough and personalised approach aims to provide a comprehensive assessment of your fit for the role.

The director recruitment process follows the below:

  1. The business case
  2. Quality interview
  3. Final interview

Our Senior Talent team are here to support you throughout the process.

We know going through a partner or director recruitment process is a big commitment, and we want you to succeed so will do all we can to help you throughout the process.

We offer prep calls before interviews, and members of our recruitment team and other partners and directors are to hand to discuss the process with you.

We are a Disability Confident employer, as well an inclusive employer and committed to ensuring our workforce is representative of our diverse society. We therefore make reasonable adjustments and adaptations to our recruitment process to ensure it is inclusive for anyone who wishes to apply.
