How should you approach your digital strategy?

As our panellists shared with us, the best way to get started with your digital strategy is to make small, incremental changes.

"There's a lot of low-hanging fruit for finance leaders to explore in digital, and you don't have to change everything at once. Start by exploring a new tool, for example, and then assess the impact on you and your teams. Let those insights drive you to the next stage."

Tarka Duhalde, Group Finance Controller at Iris Software Group

"You don't have to start by jumping headfirst into a complex technology integration - there are plenty of other, smaller ways that digital and tech capabilities can make your life easier. Get quick wins with lasting results by keeping your execution teams agile and small to make iterative changes in quick succession."

Bart Borms, CFO at Medivet

"For me, the digital agenda is about mindset. If you want to make a change, it doesn't need to be perfect - just 60 or 70% of the way there. Then you can continuously iterate to achieve a gold standard later down the line. Don't become preoccupied or pressured by perfection."

Vineta Bajaj, Group CFO at Rohlik Group
