Grant Thornton launches new Benefit Insights Tool

Leading business and financial adviser Grant Thornton UK LLP today announced the introduction of a new tool designed to help HR professionals gather valuable data-led analysis into employee needs and preferences relating to benefits.

Grant Thornton’s Benefit Insights tool has a unique data dashboard which presents insights to users in real-time, allowing them to explore data, drill down and observe views across different demographics – such as age, salary level or job grade.

The data results are presented in an easy-to-read format, allowing users to quickly identify areas for improvement and take action. Results can also be communicated to employees, demonstrating the importance of their feedback and the organisation’s commitment to providing the best possible benefits package.

Laurie Eggleston, Associate Director, Employee Benefits Consultancy at Grant Thornton UK LLP, said:

"Getting a more accurate picture of your workforce has never been more important. According to our latest Business Outlook Tracker, a third of the 608 mid-market businesses surveyed* are planning to increase investment in employee rewards and benefits over the next six months. The rising cost of living has negatively impacted people’s financial health and as the battle for talent continues, employees are on the lookout for attractive benefit packages from current and prospective employers."

“Managing employee benefits can be a complex and time-consuming process. Understanding your current benefit position will allow you to drive value for money in your benefit spend. Focusing attention on weaker or underutilised areas, with communications targeted at specific demographics, will enhance employee engagement and increase the return on your investment. It will enable you to focus resources on the areas that matter and provide the benefits that are best placed to meet your peoples’ needs."
