I’m a Director in the North West audit team, leading audits across our varied client base. I’ve worked with a range of clients in my career, including listed companies, large privately-owned groups and owner managed businesses. I enjoy working with my clients to provide a high-quality audit and supporting my teams to deliver the best service possible. I have worked in this team throughout my career, except for a secondment to Grant Thornton New Zealand.
My portfolio is cross-sector, but I have significant experience in manufacturing, contracting, retail, and business services. I also work with clients with US reporting requirements. I have extensive experience of both FTSE and AIM-listed businesses and have strong knowledge of the financial reporting and corporate governance challenges faced by these businesses. I’m the Audit Quality Lead for the North West office, working with fellow engagement leads and the wider team to maintain excellent audit quality that our clients can trust.
Outside of work I enjoy going to the theatre, eating out, wine tasting, and exploring museums and galleries. I like to read and am a member of a book club. I’m an armchair fan of various sports (sometimes even making it to an actual sporting event) and have recently started to work with a personal trainer.
