Hana Hammouda

A postgraduate economist by training, I provide regulatory and competition economic advice across a range of industries and jurisdictions, with a particular interest in regulated sectors including telecoms, energy, water, and postal services. I manage large, high profile and complex economics projects, such as market reviews, subsidy control assessments, investment appraisal, options analysis for regulatory reforms, and independent reviews of regulatory determinations.

Having worked with economic regulators, regulated entities, government, and large corporates, my clients benefit from combined insights into the commercial drivers for regulated entities as they negotiate regimes, with deep knowledge of how regulators think about market players. Economic consulting has taken me to places such as Copenhagen, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia where I have provided advice on matters ranging from the vertical separation of a telecom incumbent to the scope of a postal universal service obligation.
