I am a tax partner with 30 years' experience. I became head of tax in 2023 and now lead a team of around 850 people nationally, developing and delivering on our strategy to create an inclusive environment to grow. As head of tax I am also a member of the firm's Strategic Leadership Team.
I continue to provide tax services to a wide range of clients. In that role I spend time with clients seeking to build an excellent working relationship and a thorough understanding of their business. This ensures that the tax advice and support complements their businesses, and allows me to identify other areas where specialist skills may need to be brought in.
My clients are typically mid-market corporates – AIM list, PE-backed and owner-managed businesses – who are dynamic, ambitious and looking to grow either through acquisition or international expansion. This results in projects such as tax structuring, working on M&A transactions, and identifying overseas tax opportunities and issues.
Outside work I'm a wife and mother. I enjoy exercising – cycling, pilates and golf – spending time outdoors, and relaxing with friends over some great food and wine.
As the daughter of a mum who always worked, and with a daughter of her own, being a strong role model for female talent is incredibly important to me – especially to anyone who wants to enjoy both a career and family. As such, I am the SLT sponsor for Gender in our firm.
