I joined the firm as a tax trainee in 2006, and made partner in January 2025.
I'm responsible for leading the regional transaction tax offering – working with our transaction advisory teams in all regions of the UK across the market.
My role involves guiding our clients through intricate tax considerations arising from transactions, while ensuring they're shielded from historical issues post-completion and well-positioned to capitalise on potential tax opportunities in their acquisition structure. I take the lead on due diligence (both buyside and sellside), structuring, forecast modelling, and all tax aspects of sale and purchase agreements (SPA).
My experience spans various sectors, particularly education, technology, and infrastructure.
A standout achievement in 2024 was supporting the reporting accountant and modelling work for Raspberry Pi's listing on the London Stock Exchange.
Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my wife and young son, staying active at the gym, and playing cricket. Additionally, I enjoy cooking and I'm a long-suffering supporter of Swindon Town Football Club.
