I am a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries specialising in actuarial and risk consulting to the general insurance sector for the last 13 years.

I work with a wide variety of clients across London Market companies, Lloyd's managing agencies, personal lines insurers, commercial lines insurers, legacy insurers, and reinsurers

I have extensive experience with Part VII and Section 13 transfers, having been involved in 13 transfers over the past five years. I also have substantial experience in the areas of reserving, capital modelling and model validation. Recently, I have been involved in a number of IFRS17 projects, assisting clients with various stages of implementation.

My wider experience includes Solvency II, pricing of personal line and commercial lines business, mergers and acquisitions, improvement of actuarial processes, business planning and Section 166 reviews.

I spent two years working within a large general insurer, assisting in setting up and then running the actuarial function. During this time, I was responsible for assisting with Solvency II preparedness, the reserving process, pricing of motor insurance policies, business planning, provision of management information, pricing of commercial lines insurance, and assistance with the sale of the company.

Outside of work and family commitments, I am a keen tennis player and try to get out regularly at my local club.
