I am head of tax valuations and regional head of valuations in our UK offices. My experience includes six years in HMRC’s Shares and Assets Valuation unit undertaking valuations for tax purposes and 22 years in professional practice undertaking and managing valuations for a wide variety of purposes.
Some of my valuation experience includes:
- valuations of companies, shares and other assets for UK tax purposes and occasionally foreign tax purposes, across all business sectors and industries
- valuations for commercial purposes, including transaction-related and shareholder issues and disputes
- acting as an expert in the valuation of goodwill on incorporation.
My clients chose to work with me because of my wealth of experience which is valuable in assisting them with solutions to challenging valuation issues, an aspect of the work I enjoy.
Originally from London, I have settled in Malvern. I’m married to Inna, have one son now old enough to look after himself and spend my leisure time playing competitive table tennis and trying to master the art of getting one decent photo out of a Polaroid film.
