I’m a forensic accountant with over 20 years’ experience in both expert witness and advisory engagements. I focus on disputes work including valuations (in the context of matrimonial proceedings and shareholder disputes), SPA disputes including completion accounts and breach of warranty matters (including expert determinations), loss of profits claims, and commercial disputes more generally.
I’ve worked on disputes ranging in value from the tens of thousands to the hundreds of millions. Some of my more interesting assignments include:
- expert determination of £350 million purchase price dispute between two major European banks following the sale and purchase of several motor finance subsidiaries in three jurisdictions
- calculating losses following alleged negligence and/or breach of contract regarding the provision of asylum seeker accommodation
- valuation of a rare and antiquarian bookshop for matrimonial proceedings
- providing advice regarding a claim for losses against the estate of a deceased Russian Oligarch
- an ICC Arbitration concerning financing costs due in a construction dispute.
Outside of work, most of my time is spent on holidays (planning and travelling), driving my children to various sporting activities, and trying to meet my daily steps target.
