I lead the UK transaction tax and private equity team and specialise in advising on tax in transactions – particularly for mid-market private equity. I also co-chair our global transaction tax committee.
I support clients on both UK and cross-border transactions: delivering clear, commercial tax advice – enabling clients to structure their tax affairs efficiently while mitigating potential pitfalls and identifying potential areas to enhance value. I've worked in private equity and transaction tax in the UK and Germany, and joined Grant Thornton in 2014.
The transaction tax team provide tax services relating to buy-side and sell-side transactions, including tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA review and funds flow support. Where non-UK jurisdictions are involved, the UK team coordinates with our international tax teams, located in more than 130 countries globally, to provide deal-focused tax advice to help our clients get their transactions over the line.
Outside of work, I like to travel (often), dance (badly), and spend time with my family.
