I’ve been with Grant Thornton since 2001, and I’m immensely proud of how I’ve seen the firm evolve and grow since then. I have been the firm’s Chief Executive Officer since January 2024, with oversight of our firm’s strategy and operations. Prior to taking on the role of CEO, I served as Chief Operating Officer for four years and worked closely with our leadership to design and embed the foundations for our current growth.
In my role as CEO, my focus is largely on helping our firm to achieve long-term, sustainable growth by continuing to deliver high-quality work that adds value for our clients, creating an inclusive culture that attracts and retains top talent and driving even greater levels of innovation in how we work with one another and with our clients.
I previously led our London audit and tax business and our people and client experience function. As an audit partner, I ensured our industry group and specialist services teams delivered to the highest level. I had a particular focus on the automotive, technology and service sectors.
I have also led work on social mobility and LGBTQIA+ in our firm and I sat on the Access Accountancy Patron Group – a collaboration of firms and professional bodies - that provides those from lower socio-economic backgrounds access to the accountancy profession.
Outside of work, I spend as much time with my three children (all adults now) as I can. I’m also an avid music fan, enjoy golf and a keen follower of Liverpool FC.
