I lead our technology, media and telecoms industry team and the technology sector group. As a specialist assurance partner by trade, I have over 20 years of experience supporting dynamic growing businesses to scale their operations both within the UK and overseas. I also hold the role of global head of technology for the Grant Thornton International global industry programme.
As well as working for privately held and PE-backed companies, I act for many listed companies and international groups with experience of AIM and full list in the UK alongside foreign filers on overseas markets. I have extensive experience of the accounting, financial reporting, internal control and governance issues facing businesses with specific knowledge of IFRS, US and UK GAAP.
I have worked with my clients through numerous transactions supporting private fund-raisings and IPOs in the UK and overseas, acquisitions (both buy and sell side), and am familiar with the key issues stakeholders look for, both regulatory and practical, to ensure a smooth transaction processes.
Outside of work, I’m married with two children, I also love sport, travel and wine - playing tennis and golf, occasional skiing, surfing and triathlons as well as spectator for other sports.
