I’m a member of the ESG assurance team within our financial accounting advisory services (FAAS) team. I generally focus on 'environment', but also have experience giving assurance on KPIs in 'social' and 'governance'.
In my 10 years at the firm, I've worked with a large variety of clients: from small tech start-ups to large listed global groups. My technical expertise ranges from external audit, including assessing internal processes and ad controls, to giving assurance on greenhouse gas and other non-financial reporting.
With a financial audit background as well as experience in the ESG sector, I have a unique mix of experience dealing with processes and controls, large data sets, external reporting, and assurance. I've supported businesses at different stages of maturity and reporting – from companies reporting their Scope 1 and 2 emissions for the first time, to experienced sustainability reporting teams. As well as providing assurance on these metrics, I've also worked with companies who want to expand or improve their reporting.
When not at work, I'm a keen sportsman – playing hockey for Cambridge City Hockey Club.
