As a Director in the London Restructuring team, I've accumulated over 12 years of experience working with high-street lenders, specialist situation funds, private equity firms, and large corporates during periods of transition, uncertainty, or financial distress.

I started my career with Grant Thornton as a school leaver in the Liverpool audit team, where I obtained my ICAEW ACA chartered accountants’ qualification, before moving to Restructuring in Manchester before then transferring onto London.

In Restructuring, I manage multiple teams and provide various advisory and formal insolvency services, such as independent business reviews, contingency planning, working capital analysis, debt restructuring, cash flow reviews, administrations (both trading and pre-packs), and liquidations. I've also expanded my formal insolvency knowledge by earning the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI) qualification from the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA).

During the 12 months leading up to March 2022 I was seconded to the Credit function of Aviva UK Life, reporting directly to the chief investment officer. My primary focus was on the workout of underperforming investments, with a particular emphasis on the real estate

Additionally, in 2022, I took part in the Institute for Turnaround (IFT) Academy, where I refined my restructuring skills through workshops and networking with industry peers; including bankers, funders, and lawyers.

My key sector focuses include Real Estate and Healthcare. In recent years, I've led the trading administration and sale of a portfolio of over 60 care homes located across the UK, as well as the trading administration and sale of one of the UK's largest holiday parks.

My superpower is my dyslexia, which has given me outstanding problem-solving skills and a unique approach to tackling challenges, enabling me to offer innovative solutions.

Overcoming numerous challenges in my life due to my dyslexia has only fuelled my determination to provide the best possible service to my clients and be a successful restructuring professional.

Outside of work, you're likely to find me in the Lake District, savouring all that it has to offer, from its picturesque lakes and rolling hills to its warm hospitality. I'm also partial to trying out the occasional extreme sport, with canyoning being one of my favourites.
