I work within the corporate finance team and my role involves providing strategic advice to clients and helping them realising their ambitions through acquisition, sale of their business, raising debt or equity capital. I am always happy to have a conversation with management teams, shareholders and other stakeholders to discuss their business strategy and building a relationship in advance of any activity that may require an advisor.
I am responsible for the execution and delivery of mid-market transactions and spend most of my time helping shareholders realise value through either private equity or trade M&A. I have transaction experience across a range of sectors and have developed a natural focus on IT services and software, operating within the wider technology sector.
In addition to my day-to-day role, I am the global M&A service line manager, helping to build the international network across Grant Thornton International and its member firms. This involves working with the global steering committee to discuss and agree best practice for quality, enhancing the member firm capabilities through training and driving growth in the M&A practice internationally.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring new places, trying my hand at too much DIY and tinkering with cars.
