We are delighted to have advised LCap Group on the minority sale and funding from Three Hills Capital Partners

LCap is a specialist executive search, assessment and analytics consultancy for high-growth, investor-backed businesses. The Group is underpinned by its propriety leadership assessment and data analytics platform – providing real insight into the behaviours, competencies and capabilities of high-performing leadership.

The platform has been developed over 10 years and has resulted in LCap becoming the UK’s most trusted talent assessment and solutions partner for the Private Equity community.

Recognising our extensive experience across the sector, the shareholders engaged us to find the right strategic investment partner to support LCap in further consolidating the sector and internationalising the Group.

We presented a range of options for the shareholders, ensuring we delivered the right outcome for management and the business going forwards. This included a targeted market outreach exercise, enhanced by our strong investor relationships, structured deal experience and sector expertise.

Having undertaken and managed both vendor commercial and financial diligence we were able to drive certainty in offers during a changing macro-economic environment.

After careful consideration of multiple offers, LCap’s shareholders completed the deal with Three Hills Capital Partners.

This partnership provides value to existing shareholders alongside committed M&A capital for LCap to accelerate its consolidation activity across the UK and internationally.

We appointed Grant Thornton due to their extensive experience and reputation across the sector. The team provided unparalleled support and expert advice throughout the transaction process. They really understood our business, the investor landscape and deal options available to us – all of which were instrumental in finding us the right investment partner to support the business through its next stage of growth
