MacArthur Green is an award-winning UK environmental consultancy serving the renewable energy sector with specialist Ornithological and Ecological consultancy services.

Founded in 2009, the Company has an exceptional market reputation built up through decades of market-leading client delivery on offshore and onshore wind generation projects.

MacArthur Green has developed a strong culture throughout its carbon conscious and biodiversity positive business model, finding a partner in which this culture was reflected was a crucial component of the sale process.

Utilising our ESG market credentials and sector knowledge, alongside our local Scottish presence, our Corporate Finance and Transaction Tax teams were able to provide a tailored approach in taking MacArthur Green to market.

Understanding the buyer landscape and their investment criteria allowed us to run a process which resulted in high levels of interest from global strategic buyers.

Ultimately, we were able to secure a deal solution that met all shareholder objectives and importantly and partner which is an excellent cultural fit for the Company and its employees.
