Pareto Group is a leading UK provider of compliance and technical services to the built environment.
Pareto has a strategy to acquire industry leading technical services and engineering businesses serving the built environment throughout the UK.
We supported Pareto in its acquisition by Pictet in November 2023, during which this inorganic strategy was identified as a key focus of the next stage of growth for the business.
We were appointed at the start of 2024 to support Pareto in identifying a list of potential acquisitions, during which, Sowga was identified as a business which strongly aligned with the Pareto Group strategy, bringing significant engineering and decarbonisation expertise into the group, as well as expanding Pareto’s national presence.
We worked closely with Pareto and its backers Pictet to understand and identify the key acquisition criteria of the inorganic strategy, supporting in identifying potential acquisition targets, utilising our in-depth knowledge of the Built Environment sector, and continue to support in identifying further acquisition opportunities.
We leveraged our expansive network and relationships in the sector to make initial introductions and facilitate conversations with identified parties and have continued to support the group through to the successful completion of this initial transaction.
