We are delighted to have advised Sequence Care Group on their sale to Intriva Capital.

Founded in 2001, Sequence provides high quality care across 38 supported living and residential care homes to adults with learning disabilities. The business provides personalised, outcome-based care that is tailored for the needs of each individual, with the objective of enriching the lives of its service users. The highly experienced and dedicated management team have overseen the development of the business in recent years with a strong commitment to care quality.

Intriva is an alternative investment firm focused on value creation in mid-market. With Intriva’s support, Sequence will be able to expand its care services and footprint via both organic growth and through the acquisition of high-quality providers across the United Kingdom.

We were appointed as corporate finance and tax advisors to the shareholders. Our strong understanding of the sector allowed us to run a highly competitive process, which generated significant interest from trade, infrastructure funds and the international private equity community.

Through our strong relationships and buyer knowledge we were able to introduce Intriva to the process, enabling them to make their first investment into the social care sector. We worked collaboratively with all parties throughout from initial marketing through to deal completion, delivering a highly successful transaction and value for shareholders.

Testimonial
Grant Thornton proved key to achieving the transaction working with both sides in an open and transparent way and ultimately delivering a great outcome for all shareholders. Their advice was always considered and drew on their wide experience and network. Throughout the transaction they gave the management team the time and expertise they needed to prepare and get through the various stages. They were both professional and a pleasure to work with.
