Grant Thornton entity update, please read

As you may be aware from recent press articles, Grant Thornton UK LLP recently voted as a firm to receive a financial investment from the private equity firm, Cinven (the Transaction). The Transaction is expected to complete in April 2025. This is a significant milestone in our firm's journey and will accelerate our next phase of growth, allowing us to substantially invest in our talent and technologies to provide an unparalleled, high-quality experience for our clients as a leading firm within the Grant Thornton International network.

As part of this investment, there is some corporate reorganisation to facilitate the Transaction. Upon completion of the Transaction, our Tax and Advisory businesses will transition to a new legal entity, Grant Thornton UK Advisory & Tax LLP. Our Audit business will stay as Grant Thornton UK LLP. For all intents and purposes, we will continue to operate as a multidisciplinary firm as we consider this is in the best interests of our clients.

Insolvency work is part of our Tax and Advisory businesses transitioning to Grant Thornton UK Advisory & Tax LLP. You do not need to do anything. There will be no difference to our provision of insolvency work, only to the appearance of our communications which will now be issued from Grant Thornton UK Advisory & Tax LLP instead of Grant Thornton UK LLP. Your Grant Thornton contacts, our email addresses, phone numbers and website addresses remain the same as does our privacy statement.

If you are a supplier to an insolvency estate managed by Grant Thornton, there will be no change unless Grant Thornton UK LLP is a party to the respective contract. Where Grant Thornton UK LLP is a party to the contract you will already have received correspondence regarding transfer of the contract to Grant Thornton UK Advisory & Tax LLP. If this is not the case, please contact your Grant Thornton case contact in the first instance.
