I have over 25 years of experience advising businesses across a range of sectors, and of all sizes, with a specific focus on helping my clients achieve their growth aspirations. This advice is predominantly audit and accounting based but has often involved cross functional client service.
My style is very much hands on, I work with my clients to provide the highest quality client service and give commercial practical advice helping reach pragmatic solutions to maximise value.
My current client portfolio is based primarily in the north west, includes Plc clients, privately owned businesses, family owned and private equity backed companies. I have worked with many clients in the past who have successfully navigated their way through third party investment, PE investment, exit and IPO.
My role within Grant Thornton is to lead the North West as Practice Leader, delivering both externally to the market and internally to our people, the best possible experience for everyone. I ensure all our service lines work together to expand our already hugely impressive client base.
I am married and have two children. Outside of work, my time is spent with the family, watching football (my son and Blackburn Rovers) and renovating (now maintaining!) an old farm house.
