I’m a chartered accountant with more than 25 years’ post-qualification experience. I’ve been with the firm for two decades, with more than 15 years spent in the pensions advisory space. Prior to that I was in corporate insolvency and restructuring, which brings a useful perspective when I'm advising Trustees and sponsors in distressed situations.

I've worked on the full range of covenant assignments, including covenant and affordability assessments for scheme-valuation purposes and PPF guarantor strength assessments. I've also assessed the covenant impact of corporate activity involving share and asset sales, refinancing, group restructurings, and apportionment arrangements.

I’ve advised clients in complex restructuring assignments involving regulated apportionment arrangements and clearance applications, such as Uniq and UK Coal, and I’ve provided advice to Trustees of schemes in insolvent restructurings, including company voluntary arrangements.

Outside of work I enjoy walking, reading, cinema, cooking, socialising with friends, and travelling. I have also occasionally been found in HIIT classes – if only to remind myself how unfit I am. I have two children who, despite allegedly being adults, I still spend a disproportionate amount of time running around after.
